Went to er last night with high blood pressure, leg weakness and light headed. dismissed as hbp + anxiety. ekg and blood work normal. could 2g azythromicin 10 days before (still present in body) be related? referenced this but was told not relevant?

Any incresed blood pressure, especially at age "46" should be evaluated by your physician, and treated appropriately if sustained over time. Azithromycin is not likely to have influenced the increase in blood pressure.

No, Azithromycin taken 10 days prior to mentioned events, even though possibly present in your system due to its long half life, is not likely to have caused your symptoms. The reason for why you took it, an infection, might have contributed to your symptoms. Follow up in the office is always needed, ideally with your primary care doc, specifically if symptoms persist.
