Sometimes: Also consider seeing a dermatologist. Allergy doctors are excellent at treating allergies. Sometimes a different specialist can take a new approach and find a new regimen that works for you. Living in florida the weather and constant changing of inside airconditioning plays havoc on the body. Finding the source is the challenge.

Perhaps: Hard to say if its the only thing. But hives where we don't know the cause is often treated with Prednisone because we know it works. Have you tried antihistamines? Montekulast? Good luck.

Cyclosporine: Also helps in controlling hives and reducing the dose of steroids needed to control them.

See a dermatologist: Chronic urticaria is not an allergy. Are you taking Aspirin or an ace inhibitor BP pill? Do you have a physical urticaria? Have you tried 30 mg certirazine in am & 50 mg Hydroxyzine at bedtime?
