About

Bio

After many years of training, I find myself at Stony Brook Internal Medicine with the privilege of wearing several hats. First and foremost, I get to take care of some inspiring wonderful patients. Secondly, I work closely with medicine residents and students, trying to impart vision and knowledge to the next generation of doctors. Despite medicine being a wonderfully gratifying career choice, I've come to realize the healthcare system needs drastic changes. We need to start thinking outside the box. Traditional models of care are no longer adequate to care for the modern patient. So finally, my third hat is innovation. I'm trying to find new and interesting ways to practice and teach medicine. Health Tap, social media, mobile apps are just a few of the things I'm trying to utilize to change the way we take care of you!
