Most progress: Hgsil is a diagnosis made under the microscope by a pathologist and is pre cancerous. The vast majority of these progress and if left untreated can turn into cervical cancer. A leep is one way of dealing with the situation and may or may not be the way to proceed in your case.

Don't have to..BUT: Hsil becomes cervical cancer in one out of five women. You could choose not to do anything but it would seem to be a very poor choice. We would all hate to see you perish from cervical cancer.
