Address your anxiety: Usually you can't sleep because you can't shut your brain off. Anxiety usually has to do with fears about something regarding your life. Would recommend looking at what these fears maybe about. I have tried kelee meditation to help quiet my own negative thoughts and anxiety, which has helped me sleep better. I have taught many patients kelee meditation (www.Thekelee.Org), which has helped!

Many options: Many treatments help anxiety: lifestyle changes, cognitive-behavioral therapy & perhaps medication. Your doctor can help you monitor changes in symptoms while you target the anxiety with behaviors (e.g., exercise, mindfulness, meditation, reducing alcohol, gaining social support) and explore therapy. Checklists help measure the response to treatments. If needed, meds are a great added component.
