No: Sounds like normal postpartum but would definitely reccomend increasing fluids especially water in diet to ensure good hydration.

Breastfeeding: Bf takes more fluids to make milk. You are probably relatively dehydrated. Drink more. As i don't know your entire medical history, you should see your doc.

Not to worry: A simple test, a urinalysis will reveal if your thirst is physiologic (i.e., normal) or illness related. Specifically, if the specific gravity is in the normal range, the likelihood is that you need to drink extraordinary amounts of water. Could be your house is too dry or you sweat a lot. The rest of this test is important too. [urine osmolality is the next step.].
