Please see your doctor as you need a prescription for an antibiotic to treat the infection. Your doctor may also wish to culture the urine to identify the optimum type of antibiotic. Wish you good health!

Frequent urination, sense of urgency for small amounts are symptoms of bladder infection(also called Cystitis). If you are on the right antibiotic, these symptoms should settle down in 2-3 days and you will feel better. Otherwise you should revisit your doctor for a change of antibiotic and also obtain a urine culture to identify the causative bacteria and its sensitivity to various antibiotics.
