Possible: Several factors can owe to psychosis, including poor nutrition, underlying anxiety and or depression, hormonal surges, chemical imbalances, and certainly sleep deprivation/insomnia. You should discuss with your dr and get evaluated. Good luck.

Unlikely: Profound sleep deprivation can lead to psychosis with hallucinations, but would require several days without any sleep. However, if you have an underlying manic depression risk, two or three days without sleep could precipitate a manic episode. Otherwise, you will have cognitive impairment from partial sleep deprivation, and risk for falling asleep while driving etc; more fatal than psychosis.
