Is a gartners duct cyst a reason to worry and should it be removed?

Don't worry: A gartner's duct cyst is a vaginal wall cyst that is generally harmless (benign). The are usually easily treated by opening and draining, but if it is not causing you any discomfort, it would be worth watching and waiting. If it causes you discomfort it can be treated by your ob-gyn. In either case does not represent anything dangerous or bad, just unpleasant.

Depending on how big: It should be evaluated with a pelvic exam. Depending on whether it is causing other issues or problems, it might be able to be monitored. http://pennstatehershey.adam.com/content.aspx?productid=117&pid=1&gid=001509.
