Mbg 179.20 means good or bad?

More bad than good: If you are talking about your mean blood glucose level, this is not terrible, but still too high. You should also have a hba1c level drawn. There is usually a correlation between the two tests. Keep working on your glucose levels! with only a little more decrease in your mbg you will reach your glucose control level. Exercise and diet will help!

Need to improve: Mbg of 179 is approx hemoglobin a1c of 7.9. You need to bring it down to 7.
