Depends on the cause: 6/36 is the same as 20/120. Is the vision corrected or uncorrected? If this is the best corrected vision, there must be a reason it is reduced. See your eye doctor for an explanation?

It is bad. : This is the equivalent of 20/120 vision in the us. I have seen a denominator of 6 as well. This means that the perfectly sighted person could walk from 20 feet back to 120 feet or from six meters back to thirty six meters and see the same letters that the 6/36 patient could see only at 20 feet. Is that confusing? Sorry. But, the vision is bad.
