I had a transverse fracture of the left big toe distal phalax, was in cast for 2 weeks and using a zimmer splint for another 2 wks. can i remove it now?

Maybe: I would check with your doctor. Usually 4 weeks is enough time but it depends on the individual fracture, symptoms, exam findings, and appearance of the x-rays.

Possible: Have x/ray to see if adequate healing has occurred. Best to wear a very supportive shoe with thick sole for a while. No sports or exercising for 6-8 weeks.
