Go to ER: One dilating pupil suggests something is going one with one side of the brain or optic nerve - i'd recommend having someone drive you to the er immediately for assessment.

Possibly!: You need evaluation and possibly neuro work up and imaging. See an eye md.
Dr. Bennett Machanic

Not at all: The dilated pupil may be due to compression of cranial nerve iii, by a structural problem at the base of the brain, and needs immediate attention.. Please get this evaluated asap.
Dr. William Gaya
Neurology 29 years experience
Do not assume is related to migraine, specially if persistently dilated. Need immediate evaluation with MRI/ MRA or CTA.
