Probably normal: Ultrasound images of kidneys are often described with the terms "mildly" this or that. In fact, renal anatomy varies widely and many kidneys naturally have a pelvis (collecting system of the kidney that may extend outside of the kidney) that is simply more generous (translation, mildly dilated) than those of other kidneys. Don't worry unless you end up with other infections.
