Is it only one side: I agree with the previous answer. Just make sure that is not watery and coming from only one side as that could indicate a spinal fluid leak which carries the risk if meningitis. Consult your surgeon.

See your Surgeon: It is important that you address all of your postoperative concerns directly with your surgeon as he/she knows exactly what was done in surgery. This could be inflammation or allergy related, could be a foreign body in the nose, or could be an uncommon CSF leak, among other reasons. Cal your plastic surgeon to address this further.

Spray: Saline nasal sprays can be squirted in the nose and gently sniffed in. Ask your surgeon if you can take antihistamine or decongestant pills as well.

Runny nose postop: Thin nasal discharge is very common after the initial healing but before full healing occurs at one year. The quality of the nasal mucous is different, as are the ways the mucous drains. Ask you surgeon about your options. Sometimes a prescription nasal spray with a nasal steroid or other medication (like Atrovent nasal spray) can help.
