A member asked:

Does celiac disease affect the body's ability to balance electrolytes? is hyponatremia or hypernatremia more likely for someone with celiac?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually not: Usually celiac disease does not affect electrolytes into and of itself but the diet changes induced by the disease can cause some electrolyte imbalances.
