Question regarding prolotherapy and prolozone treatment for ligament / tendon / cartilage injuries ? what are some doctor opinions on these treatments

Prolotherapy: Is performed by alternative medicine doctors and is not accepted in mainstream. It has been reported by individual doctors of my acquaintance that it can produce excellent results. It is, however, a technical procedure and you need to know the reputation of the doc.

Prolotherapy: Prolotherapy is the proper treatment for chronic ligament sprains/tendon strains. In my clinical experience i perform 4 injections over an 8 week period. Usually the patient participates in physical therapy as well. The patient is to refrain from all nsaids during the injection treatments.

Prolozone: Prolozone is injection of ozone and nutrients into the joint space. I have found it very effective in my practice as a natural option to avoid drugs and surgery. If injections are not successful surgery is still an option. I always try to avoid surgical intervention if possible.
