IBS: Symptoms such as bloating and gas are typically resolved after having a bowel movement. It is not uncommon for an individual with ibs to have episodes of both constipation and diarrhea. Nausea is a little unusual but can be produced by the gastric distention from the bloating and gas. If this continues to be severe and bothersome would consult with a gastroenterologist.
