Like many drugs, taking that medicine could be accompanied with some side effects .Tongue coating is one of them.Nothing to worry about .Ask your dr if you could take vitamin b-12 with it ..Some time the flora gets affected with medicine and fungus infection could occur .Manifesting itself with tongue coating.

Yes.: The collateral effects i\of this type of medicine are very "interesting". One of these side effects is what you are having. Keep your tongue clean (brush and scrape) and use oral antibiotic rinse.
