Fasting < 100: For everyone (diabetics and non-diabetics) fasting glucose should be less than 100 for optimum health. For diabetics it is important to take oral medications or Insulin to make sure that it is. Blood test (hgb a1c) also checks average blood glucose level for the past 3 months and should be checked regularly.
