More suggestions: Your daughter's dry hands many indicate that she has eczema or contact dermatitis. Avoiding immersion in water, topical steroids and using a gentle moisturizer frequently without rubbing the skin is suggested. Eucerin or Nivea without fragrance can be used as the moisturizer. I would suggest keeping her nails trim as well.
