I have a dry, red itchy patch of skin isolated to my wrist area. lotion doesn't help, but antibacterial medicine does. what are your thoughts?

Could be infection: You may have a bacterial infection or a rash that started as eczema but became secondarily infected. It might also be a fungal infection or mixed infection. If it does not clear completely with antibacterial med you should see a doctor or dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
