Deviated septum?: The major problems affecting nasal breathing is a deviated septum or nasal membrane swelling caused by allergies. If your doctor prescribed nasal medications, especially nasal sprays without improvement, it may be related to an old nasal injury causing a septal deviation. A referral to an ENT can determine the cause and they can recommend other medications or surgical intervention.
