Let me Explain: If she was walking before she will be able to walk again , it just take more time and physical therapy..

Yes, probably: If the fixation is secure and she could walk before, she should be able to walk again. She will need rehab.

Usually yes: In patients that are ambulatory preop, the vast majority are able to ambulate after hip fracture surgery. It depends on the severity of the fracture, the stability if the repair, and the health of the patient.
