See doctor: Snoring can be just one symptom of a larger, underlying problem- sleep apnea or a respiratory ailment. I would consult a doctor whom will probably have you undergo a sleep study to measure the extent of your problem or examine you for other health concerns- allergies, sinus, etc.

Depends how severe: You should consult with your md as snoring may be a sign of sleep apnea. Dental devices can be very effective to control both non-apneic snoring and sleep apnea or you may need a CPAP machine. Losing weight, avoiding alcohol or sedating medications, and getting a good nights sleep regularly all can help as well.
