Ear Drum Rupture: It is very likely her eardrum ruptured. While this looks like a worry some issue, it is simply the body's natural way of relieving the pressure. Use tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen for pain relief and continue the current antibiotics. It is likely your child is feeling less pain as a result of the rupture. See your pediatrician in the next 1-2 days to have the ear reevaluated.
