It depends: Smaller procedures can be done early (40s) such as fat injections or mini face lifts. These can help prevent aging and avoid major procedures for a longer time. Full face lifts are usually done at the ages of 55+ and can improve your appearance by 10-15 years.

At whichever age: The presence of jowls, deep folds, sagging cheeks and loose skin of the neck become enough of a concern for the patient that they're willing and able to go through the process.

Age is unimportant: A facelift is designed to correct certain signs of aging, and is not restricted to any age group. A good facelift will address sagging in the neck and jowl area, and get some improvement in the mid face areas as well. It can be combined with other procedures. Seek consultation with a qualified facial plastic surgeon to get the best recommendations for your areas of concern. Best wishes.

Age for facelift: Facial aging can bother a person at varying ages. Mild aging can be treated non-surgically with skin care, botox, and filler injections. As aging progresses, procedures like mini-facelift, neck lift, or full facelift (with/without brow and eyes) become more appropriate. Consultation with a plastic surgeon will allow you to discuss your concerns to create the most appropriate treatment plan.

Varies enormously!: In my opinion, the best candidates for facelifts look older than their chronological age (40 years old, but look 50, for example). The next best candidates look older than they feel (50 years old, looks 50, but feels 40!) some patients prefer more frequent, subtle procedures so no one notices; others want a more dramatic result so they "get their money's worth!".

No particular age: A common question with a basic answer. No age is the "right age". I basically advise my patients that when it bothers you enough, that is the right time. An easy test is what we all do in the mirror. Pulling up the cheeks and neck with the hands roughly demonstrates what a facelift achieves. Marc yune, md www.Aestheticspecialtycentre.Com.

When she wants it: This is not an easy answer. Individuals age differently. Some 40 year olds look like 50 year olds and vice versa. Facelifts tend to correct lax skin and subcutaneous facial structures. They do not alter skin texture or do they necessarily restore facial volume. Therefore facelifts can be performed at any age where there is sufficiently lax skin to justify the surgery.

When desired, but...: Please be aware that facelift is a vague term, and usually only rejuvenates the face from the lower eyelid to the base of the neck. Facelifts are not permanent; they last from 5-15 years or more--shorter time in older patients and patients with sun damaged skin. Average age in my patients is about 52: see a board certified plastic or facial plastic surgeon to investigate your best options.

Trend is younger: Facial aging often becomes entrenched by the mid 40’s and early 50’s. When facelift surgery is performed in the early stages of aging, the result often appears more natural and lasts significantly longer because younger patients possess more ample facial fat, better bone structure and superior elasticity of the skin and soft tissues. That said, age is only one important factor in the decision.

Depends: Some patients get less invasive mini facelifts at a younger age to avoid ever seeming to age. Some women wait until aging is more pronounced to consider surgery. Get a consultation to see what is right for you!

Ideal Facelift Age: It actually all depends on the aging process, genetics, and your desires. While younger patients do well because they have better skin elasticity, there is really no ideal age for a woman to have a facelift. No definite age: There is no defined age at which a woman should have a facelift. Facelifts have been performed in women (and men) ages 35 to 65 and older. More critical considerations for facelift include medical conditions that may impact anesthesia and healing after surgery, such as smoking, being on a blood thinner, or keloid formation, as well as expectations of what a facelift can achieve.

Age for facelift: There is no specific age to have a facelift. Truly it depends on the patient's individual anatomy and surgical goals. Have your face evaluated by a board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon to determine what procedure is best for you.

Age for a facelift: The twenties are too early for a facelift, but there can be exceptions. If considering plastic surgery, I recommend finding a board certified plastic surgeon who does at least 100 facelifts per year and make an appointment for consultation.
