Bio

Brock D. Ridenour, MD FACS is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon specializing in facelift, rhinoplasty and the latest scientifically proven, technology-based skin repair services. Ridenour Plastic Surgery, LLC is one of the Midwest’s premier cosmetic skin care clinics and a recognized leading edge facility. Formerly the director of the Facial Plastic Surgery Division at Washington University in St. Louis for 12 years, Dr. Ridenour has been in private practice since 2003. Dr. Ridenour completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University, where he graduated with honor and distinction in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He attended Tulane University Medical School and later completed a post-graduated program in Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He completed his fellowship training in Facial Plastic Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle before moving to St. Louis in 1992. Dr. Ridenour is a member of numerous professional organizations. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He is board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He serves on numerous professional committees at the regional and national level. Well respected by his community and peers for his honesty and superb surgical results, he is a frequent national lecturer and author of many book chapters and articles on facial cosmetic surgery and rhinoplasty. He is listed in the guide to ”America's Top Plastic Surgeons" selected by the Consumer's Research Council of America. He is a member of the Medicis™ (Restylane™, Perlane™) Advisory Council, the Radiesse™ Medical Education Faculty, the Juvederm™ National Speakers Group and he serves as a physician preceptor for Reliant Corporation™ (Fraxel re:pair™ and Fraxel re:store™), Bioform Corporation™ (Radiesse™), ACI Surgery™ (GFX™), and Lumenis Corporation™ (IPL™).
