Scars: Sensitive scars can be from nerve entrapment in the scar tissue. Steroid injections can sometimes decrease the sensitivity by breaking up the scar tissue.

Scar: It sounds like hypertrophic scar formation. Silastic gel sheets are otc now - see your pharmacist . This may help . These type of scars can need injection therapy as well . The sensitivity could indicate nerve entrapment. See a podiatrist for help . Good luck.
