Scars: Sensitive scars can be from nerve entrapment in the scar tissue. Steroid injections can sometimes decrease the sensitivity by breaking up the scar tissue.

Silastic gel: Silastic gel sheets can also help scarring. These can now be found over-the-counter as well as prescribed by your doctor. http://www.drblaines.com/products.php?id=scar_care i have found this very helpful with the patient in the past. Good luck.

Scar: It sounds like hypertrophic scar formation. Silastic gel sheets are otc now - see your pharmacist . This may help . These type of scars can need injection therapy as well . The sensitivity could indicate nerve entrapment. See a podiatrist for help . Good luck.
