Topical tacrolimus: Often people who do not operate cannot appreciate how important it is to have healthy skin for people in the operating room. Healthy skin for you is the best barrier to prevent infection. Talk to your dermatologist about topical tacrolimus. It is the same medication for immunosuppression in kidney transplant but works well to control bad eczema. It requires a prescrption.
