2 grams per pound: Most trainers recommend about 2 grams of protein for each pound of body weight. You shouldn't take more than 40 to 50 grams at a sitting, since that's about the limit go absorption. Also take with some good fats. This will allow for better absorption of the protein. And plenty of fluids to avoid constipation.
