Within normal: There is a condition called geographic tongue and from your description that is what you have. It is a benign condition. At times, some foods (spicy or acidic foods) can aggravate this and cause a burning sensation . In that case just avoid those foods. You should consult your dentist upon your next visit and make sure that is all you have.
