Had sinus trouble for years as i bring up discharge from them daily. is this normal? no related symptoms, normal head mri for unrelated investigation.

Chronic sinus dz: Call next sinus irritation should be evaluated by an ent. While the chance of any cancer or serious disease is low. Chronic sinus problems usually do not resolve on their own. You may have some unknown allergies or environmental issues that could be worsening your symptoms. Often the problems are easily resolved with medicine or behavioral changes, however sinus surgery can also have dramatic improvements in your symptoms. You should start with your regular doctor for further evaluation.

ENT consult: Sinus problems are very common. If they are severe enough to seek medical attention, it is best to start with your primary care doctor. Often, these problems are related to allergies rather than underlying anatomic problems for more serious diseases. If your primary care doctor feels it's warranted, an ENT consult be the next step in evaluating sinus disease.
