Couple thots: You could possibly be suffering more than one problem. Head and eye consistent with a migraine syndrome, and numbness does occur transiently in classical migraine auras. But the intensity you describe brings up question of local peripheral nerve compression, which indeed might be unrelated. I think a neurologist can get you answers and treatment.
