Depends : It depends on your symptoms . Ofcourse medications and physical therapy. You may be a candidate for a radio frequency ablation of the facet joint nerves or if you have lower extremity symptoms maybe even a spinal cord stimulator trial.

Epidural Injections: Epidural injections do not always work. A bulging disc can cause discogenic back pain. You need to see a neurosurgeon who specializes in back pain. A discogram may diagnose a sick disc that needs to be fused. A patient with mostly back pain is usually facing a fusion; with mostly leg pain facing a discectom or decompression. I have not examined you or your films. I hope that this helps.
