Probably: Should be able to take both but follow the dosage directions carefully. Do not take tylenol (acetaminophen) #3 on an empty stomach. Discontinue taking the tylenol (acetaminophen) as soon as pain subsides.

Yes: You should be fine taking both of these drugs. First, try taking the ultram by itself. If that doesn't help the pain, then try taking a 1/2 of tylenol (acetaminophen) #3 as well as a motrin. I suspect you will only need half of tylenol (acetaminophen) #3 tablet. If not, then try a whole tablet of tylenol (acetaminophen) #3. Keep smiling !
