Not recommended: Tramadol and codeine(one of the ingredients in tylenol (acetaminophen) 3) are both opiods and taking them together can lead to increased side effects such as sedation, fatigue, even respiratory depression at high enough doses. Tramadol is a very weak opioid and Codeine is a mild opioid as well. However, if you are opioid naive, the build up of even weak opioids can cause issues like over sedation.Hope this helps!
