Sweating: Profuse sweating can be a sign of infection especially if fever or chills are present. Antiinflammatory medications like ibuprofen and medications like tylenol (acetaminophen) can also cause sweating. I recommend that you report the symptoms to the dentist or oral surgeon who performed the extraction.

Some people: Respond that way to stress. Pain is certainty a stressor. Clonidine at bedtime is a good way to treat both the sweating and anxiety.
