Many causes: The ear pain can be from your ear or from structures around your ear. Ear causes of ear pain are accompanied by fluid coming out of your ears or hearing loss. Ear pain from surrounding structures include sore throat, your tmj, etc. You need to be examined to rule in or rule out an ear cause of ear pain.
