It would seem that you had some irritable superficial scalp nerves causing neuralgia type shooting sharp pains. My sense is the subsequent scattered tingling may be your brain communicating with your skin as a result of some anxiety. Deficiencies of calcium or magnesium can also cause widespread tingling and should be checked if symptoms persist. I think they'll resolve though.
