Cold - Four Months? : A typical cold would not last 4 months. You need to see an otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat physician) for a complete evaluation and treatment.

Cough: Have you been coughing tons? I will defer your ongoing upper respiratory query to the ent's but have heard of MRSA or other mean bugs not responding to traditional treatment. The black spot can be a hematoma( blood blister) from coughing violently or may be a clue to the etiology. I think second and third opinions would be useful to you now. Please seek out sinus or infectious disease doctors.
