I looked in the mirror and was fine. About 10 minutes later, I looked in the mirror and saw that my left jaw was swollen in front of and under the ear. There was no pain. Moved to neck overnight/turned red. Sore. Now, 2 days later, almost gone?

Severe sore throat,congestion, head/ear ache. No white patches or bumps in throat . Throat is red/orange shade from roof of mouth back. No sores. Swollen glands around throat area. No fever. Symptoms on going for 8 days. Suggestions?
