Yes!: There isn't yet "proof" that organic food is healthier simply because that research has not been done. What has been proven is that organic foods have significantly lower levels of residues of a wide variety of extremely toxic pesticides; pesticides increase risk of cancer, diabetes, parkinson's etc. There's no way that avoiding pesticides can not be healthier!that's not the only thing-see comment:.

No: Food is food. However, certain foods are grown with antibiotics and use of pesticides and herbicides. Consumer's report had an excellent article discussing organic vs. Non-organic foods about a year ago. I'd go to your library and check out that copy if you do not have a subscription. It is by far the best discussion on organic foods available.
