Talk to your doctor.: Elevated transaminases (ast, alt) suggest liver injury. A negative hepatitis panel only excludes (most) viral infections that could injure the liver. Other causes of liver injury need to be investigated. Your doctor may ask you to see a gastroenterologist or hepatologist for further work up. In the meantime, i would avoid Acetaminophen (tylenol), herbal supplements, and alcohol.

Hepatopathy: Hepatic cell injury occurs most commonly with a condition crudely called 'fatty liver'. This can often be detected by imaging techniques. See a GI doctor and they can explain this to you in detail.
