Was being tested for autoimmune hepatitis but everything has been negative/normal asma, ana, iron, tibc. neg hep a,b,c. igg subclasses test normal ranges except igg4 185.7 mg/dl. i did have rising alt and ast but those have come down. what is igg4?

IgG4 is a type of immunoglobulin which is made by the immune system. By itself, it does not mean anything, but needs to be interpreted along with all of the rest of the liver test results. You should return to your liver doctor for further evaluation, have a diagnosis is not established yet. Good luck.
