See an orthopaedist: Hip pain can be caused by a variety of different conditions. Common diagnoses include: arthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, torn cartilage (labral tear), nerve irritation, and referred pain from the lower back. An orthopaedic evaluation with x-rays is recommended. Given your history of bc (bladder cancer?), a bone scan may also be recommended for evaluation.
