A member asked:

If you have subclinical hyperthyroidism and take low dose of .25 methimazole, can this kick me into full blown hyperthyroidism?

Methimazole: No Methimazole will not make you become more hyperthyroid. In fact, the use of Methimazole in patients who are hyperthyroid from graves' disease, seems to put patients into remission (normal thyroid levels off the methimazole). It will no worsen your condition.
