Pilonidal cyst: You are describing a pilonidal cyst. Unfortunately there is nothing trhat can be done at home. If you are hirsute in the area, try dcreasing the density of hair with waxing or a depilatory. If the cyst becomes infected then surgery will be the next treatment.
