Sensitivity: Other than some sensitivity to cold, there isn't any damage that occurs. Whitening is temporary regardless of the method used.

It should not: In general laser whitening should not harm the teeth. However, there are, in my opinion much more effective whitening techniques than laser whitening.

Yes: Laser whitening uses the highest concentration of peroxide gel, which has been shown in several studies to damage enamel. In addition at least 8 peer reviewed studies have shown that laser or light used during this process does absolutely nothing. Its all chemical. In addition it is the least effective way to whiten teeth and the most expensive.

YES!: First of all laser or any other light whitening does not white through the laser. In fact lights have been shown to do absolutely nothing in many peer reviewed studies. Its all the chemicals. In office power whitening uses very high concentrations of peroxide which can damage enamel and cause extreme sensitivity.
