There : There is no greater risk with either. The only risk is that a store bought system may or may not work depending on the stain.

No: So called laser teeth whitening will not damage your teeth. Professional whitening uses a higher concentration of peroxide and your teeth may be sensitive for a day versus the over the counter products, but they will not damage your enamel.
